In the centre we arrange access and parking in advance
The central city part is densely built, with party-wall buildings and the highest concentration of services in the city. So we agree in advance where we stop and how the machines get inside, instead of hoping for a space at the door.
Sredets has the oldest population in Sofia, 29.2% aged 65 and over, with Oborishte second at 23.9%. Sredets has also lost more residents than any other district since 2011. So most of our work here is deep cleaning: a flat being prepared for sale or for letting, and a home whose owner can no longer manage it alone.
The buildings are not of one kind. About a fifth of Sofia's building stock was destroyed in the 1944 bombing, mostly in the centre, and rebuilt afterwards, so one street can hold an old apartment house, a post-war block and a new entrance. That is why we ask about the floors and the windows when you book, not once we have arrived.

A visit planned without agreeing where to stop
In the dense centre a free space at the door is rare, and the extraction machine is heavy and cannot be carried far by hand. We agree in advance where we unload and who lets us in. Transport is in the price, so the delay is not billed to you.
An aggressive product against limescale
Sofia's water is soft, around 2 dH according to Sofiyska voda, and the centre is no different. The scale here is thin and comes off with a mild acidic product. Abrasive pastes and wire pads scratch chrome and old taps for good.
Regular upkeep for a home that needs a deep clean
A flat that has stood closed, that is being emptied after a move, or that has not had a thorough clean in years, will not be fixed by a weekly visit. Deep clean first, then upkeep, which takes half the time afterwards.
The same amount of water on every floor
Old floorboards and laminate will not take the water that tiles accept happily, and in an old apartment house there is no telling what sits under the carpet. Tell us what the floor is, or send a photo, and we bring the right machine.

Where will you park? Our street is impossible.
Parking is ours to sort out. Before the visit we settle where we unload and how close we can get, and we carry the rest by hand. Transport is included in the price you received in writing.
The building is old and has no lift. Can you manage?
Yes. Tell us the floor and whether there is a lift when you book, so we can judge how many of us should come and how long to allow. If the lift is small, we take the equipment up in two trips.
I cannot be at home. Can I leave you a key?
You can, many clients do. The people who come are our own staff, vetted and insured, and every visit is documented. If you would rather be there, we come while you are home.
Are there hours when cleaning is not allowed in the building?
If your building rules set quiet hours, tell us and we work around them. Otherwise we come at a time that suits you, and if it is early we start with the quiet work.
What will the neighbours hear?
Only the vacuum and the extraction machine are loud. The rest is wiping and does not carry through a wall. If it is a concern, we plan the machine work for the middle of the day.
The flat is empty and we are preparing it for sale. How does that work?
An empty flat cleans faster because there is nothing to move around, but it is a deep clean rather than a regular one. The price comes in writing after the free survey, and if you want upkeep afterwards, that starts at €13/hour.
