Your home is where you spend the most time, and the last place you want to be breathing in product residue. So we clean with biodegradable products free from chlorine and ammonia. The result is a clean home where, an hour later, you cannot tell anything harsh was used.
We work both one-off and to a regular schedule. On a contract, the same team returns each time. They already know the dog must not go out on the balcony, that the hallway cupboard sticks, and that you like the towels folded a particular way.
For homes up to 80 m² one cleaner usually comes. For larger properties, and for every first visit, we work in pairs so the job does not stretch across the whole day.

How a visit runs
Arrival and a quick check-in
The team arrives at the agreed time with their own equipment. If anything is specific to today (guests this evening, a recent spill, a room to leave alone), this is when you say so.
Dry cleaning, top to bottom
Dusting from the highest surfaces down to the floor, so nothing has to be cleaned twice. Vacuuming closes this stage.
Wet areas
Kitchen and bathroom, where grease and limescale accumulate. These rooms take the longest and are done properly rather than quickly.
Floors and finish
Wet cleaning of all hard floors, waste taken out, and a short walkthrough with you if you are home.

How to get more from the same visit
Clear surfaces clean twice as fast. If the clothes come off the chairs and the dishes out of the sink before we arrive, the same money buys a more thorough clean instead of moving objects around.
It is not required. We will tidy around them either way. But clients who do it notice the difference in the result.
Worth knowing
How often is worth it
For a two-person household without pets, fortnightly cleaning is usually enough to stop anything accumulating. With small children or a dog, weekly makes more sense, not because more mess is made, but because the kind of soiling involved sets if it is left.
If a home has been neglected for several months, starting straight onto a regular schedule wastes money. One deep clean first is cheaper, after which upkeep takes half the time.
Regular cleaning or a housekeeper
The difference is scope and liability. A company arrives with equipment, insurance and a replacement team when someone is on leave or unwell. A housekeeper is more flexible for tasks beyond cleaning, such as shopping, ironing and looking after plants.
For most Sofia households the combination works best: a company for the cleaning itself every week or two, and help with the rest as needed.
What affects the price
- Floor area and number of bathrooms, the bathroom is the most time-consuming room
- Condition at the start, a maintained home cleans faster than a neglected one
- Pets, fur lengthens vacuuming noticeably
- Frequency, weekly contracts bring the hourly rate down
- Floor type, grouted stone and matt laminate need more care

Upholstery & carpet cleaning
Professional extraction cleaning of sofas, mattresses, chairs and carpets. We remove stains, dust, mites and odours.
Post-renovation cleaning
Removal of construction dust, paint, silicone and adhesive. We return the property to a ready-to-live-in condition.
Common area cleaning
Maintenance of communal areas in residential buildings, covering staircases, lifts, basements and surrounding grounds, on an agreed schedule.
Frequently asked questions
How long does a one-bedroom flat take?
Usually between 2.5 and 3 hours for regular cleaning of a well-kept home. For a first visit, or if the home has not been cleaned in months, it takes longer, 4 to 6 hours. We assess this at the free inspection.
Can I book only certain rooms?
Yes. We agree the scope in advance and you pay only for what you booked. Clients often book just the kitchen and bathrooms and handle the rooms themselves.
Will the same team come every time?
For contract clients, yes, as far as possible. During holidays or illness we send a replacement, but we tell you beforehand and pass on the notes for your home.
Do I need to be at home?
Not necessarily. Many clients leave us a key or an access code. Our staff are vetted and insured, and each visit is logged with arrival and departure times.
What about pets?
We work comfortably around dogs and cats. If your animal is nervous with strangers, tell us and we will start in a room they are not in. Our products are safe on contact with paws and fur.
How is payment handled, and do you invoice?
Cash on completion, or bank transfer for contracts. We issue invoices on request, including to companies.
What happens if something gets broken?
Our work is covered by professional liability insurance. We tell you ourselves if something happens, rather than hoping you do not notice.
